Next seminars at the VHS Erlangen
The next semester at the Volkshochschule (VHS) Erlangen is starting. I'm there again as well with an introduction seminar for Linux and a JavaFX software project seminar.
The Linux seminar will be covering an Ubuntu variant from installation, over basic system structure to installing software and using common commands on the command line.
The JavaFX project will be the development of a cross platform software for desktop and Android. It will cover the basics of JavaFX, the Model-View-Controller pattern, file access with serialization, life cycles and platform independent vs. platform specific code. The fun part is the project itself, implementing a media player application :).
